Impressed or Unimpressed?
Travis Ryan Rates your Dress to Impress Outfits!
Over the summer of 2024, social media boomed with the game Dress to Impress on Roblox. In the game, you can dress in nearly any outfit possible, and your outfits are then judged by other players online. However, here at Stoughton High School, I’ll do the honors and rate them myself!
MYRANDA BROWN
Grade: 12
Theme: Grungy
Rating: 4/5 Stars
Response: This is really cute! You honed in on the theme and did a good job. She looks like I could trust her with my life. I would have preferred a bit more color, but it does a great job either way.
SAMANTHA GILBERT
Grade: 10
Theme: Lydia Deets (Beetlejuice)
Rating: 4/5
Response: I don’t know who this is (I haven’t seen Beetlejuice), but from what I’m seeing on Google Images, you ate that up. The hair complements the outfit well and helps it pop out as a whole. But it’s just a bit too much red for me—it could use some more detailing on the dress. Regardless, you did a splendid job!
MARAH KOSTLEVY
Grade: 12
Theme: Ribbons Galore
Rating: 5/5
Response: I hope you got first place here because this is amazing! From everything, including the hair to the clothing patterns to the color combinations, this outfit flows and you presented it in a beautiful and sophisticated manner that deserves nothing less than five stars. A huge improvement from that “nursery rhyme” outfit you sent me…
EMMA FLINT
Grade: 12
Theme: Mermaid/Siren
Rating: 5/5
Response: Wow, this looks amazing! I love the color combinations and the details you put into the outfit with the frills, gloves, and jewelry, not to mention the crown, which tops it off. Keep that crown on because you’ve claimed your seat at the top of this ranking.
ATTICUS TYRRELL
Grade: 12
Theme: Airport Outfit
Rating: ⅕
Response: What was the vision? I’m so confused. It looks like Shrek had a bad day in a clothing store and grabbed the first thing he saw on the shelves because he was late to his flight. Without ten pages of context and a formal apology, I can’t see this going anywhere except one star.
